NAR tracks CRS Listed status, which represents the standing of RECs from a project being able to be used towards the annual Green-e® Verification Audit process. The CRS Listed status is only viewable to NAR account holders flagged as a Green-e® participant. If you are interested in becoming a Green-e® participant, see here. See below for more information from CRS:
The following renewable electricity generation facilities are registered in an approved electronic tracking system. They have all submitted Tracking Attestations to Center for Resource Solutions (CRS), though CRS does not certify these or any other generation facilities and therefore supply from these facilities is subject to further verification during the annual Green-e® Verification Audit process. Generators that submit Attestations are prohibited from claiming that they are “eligible” or “certifiable” or otherwise have any of the benefits associated with Green-e® Energy certification.
Tracking Attestation Status
Approved - Requires Additional Green-e® Verification indicates that supply from such facilities may not satisfy Green‑e® certification requirements without such additional steps, such as procurement of allowances or retirement allowance.
Approved indicates the generating facility's form has been processed.
Extended Use Application indicates that supply from such facilities that are grandfathered in under an older version of the Green-e® Renewable Energy Standard for Canada and the United States.
- Note: within NAR, any projects not referenced on the CRS Listed status list, as managed by CRS, will be denoted with a "N/A"
